Very nice books, one of my son's favorite. Hope there will be more like this one.
This is an adorable children’s look and find Easter book for any child between the ages of 1 or 2 and probably 6 years old. The story follows Jesus on the days before he is crucified. It follows Jesus into Jerusalem, to the Last Supper, and into the garden of Gethsemane. The story is told in a way that is easy for little children to understand and the corresponding pictures help them to comprehend what they are hearing or reading. The pages each have a tab with a picture on it matching what that part of the story is, making it really easy for little hands to turn each page.The pictures are very well illustrated and perfect for little ones to relate to. Along with each illustration is the Bible passage describing the picture, making this a perfect activity for young kids and a great way to teach them about the reason for the holiday. Keeping Christ in Easter can sometimes be difficult especially with little kids; the excitement of candy and the Easter Bunny can easily be distracted for young minds, adding in a Christ themed activity such as this can be the perfect way to remind them of the true Easter story, and why it is so important.I would recommend this book for any young child. On each tab is a little preview image to show what is on that page of the book. (There are preview images on the backs of the tabs, too.)On the left side of each page opening in Ready, Set, Find Easter is a portion of the Easter story along with 8 images to find. On the right side of each page opening is a full picture, including the images to find.Ready, Set, Find Easter is adorably illustrated and has been one of my baby's favorites this season. I love how there are six hidden object pictures, which makes this precious book interactive.I would highly recommend “Ready, Set, Find – Easter†to the tiniest ones, to young readers, and to those who read and teach little ones.
Ready, Set, Find Easter is a precious little book that shares a simplified version of the Easter story. From Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a donkey to appearing to the disciples after his death, children can walk through the Easter story in a way that they can relate to. Along the way, kids get to find different pieces of the illustration.The illustrations are sweet. They hold enough details that kids will have to hunt a little to find the pictures. But they are also simple enough that Sarabeth, at 2, can also find all of the items on the page. This lovely board book was designed for curious little hands and minds. The story of Easter begins with the the triumphal entrance into Jerusalem. Then we get to see the Last Supper and go to the garden where Jesus is arrested. Jesus is then crucified on the cross. Three days later Jesus' friends find the tomb empty and then finally Jesus appears to Peter and the others. This is obviously a simplified version but it contains all the essential elements for little minds to begin to grasp the importance of the events.I really like this book for the preschool set especially. The story is told in an engaging yet simplistic way and also includes scriptural references. Each of the pages have over-sized tabs making it easy for little fingers to turn the pages. The hidden picture element is a nice interactive touch. One of my grands had a blast discovering each of the pictures.This cute little book would make a nice addition to all of your little ones Easter baskets.I received a copy of this book to facilitate my review.
