Joseph P. Farrell was born and raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Trustworthy and credible information. There is some speculation in it, but the writer admits this. The most important part is an analysis of Western Christianity's return to ancient Paganism-Occultism through a developing over-reliance on Augustine's version of the Holy Trinity, which Eastern Christianity has never accepted. The physics feature of the Western trinity has direct and indirect associations with today's isms and evils, which Dr. Farrell explores through modern scientific parallels in alchemy and the social-political collectivism of Nazism and Communism, whose origins are Western Christianity 900 years ago. One problem for some readers will be the overwhelming extent of detailed information. Dr. Farrell makes his point well, but some readers may get tired of so much information repeating this point. But some readers will love this. I recommend the book because of its exposing of Western Christianity's astrological-alchemical trinity, which Augustine used through Neo-Platonism. And I recommend it because it gives a deep analysis of how ancient Occultism continues to be used to abuse religion and science.
Dr. Farrell again amazes with his detail knowledge of the open deception of people in power and science. Alchemy is pretty much all that is of interest to thesefoolish/depraved individuals with hidden agendas. He shows that an enemy of Man/Mankind has quietly been working in the background under different and harmless titles to commit their crimes in the guise of progress. Quantum physics and basically the unraveling of DNA and sciences to do great harm, while pretending to be a hero. It is a very good read, he's an excellent historian with a spin that you can tell he believes in more than himself.
Without a doubt, this is the best alchemy book I've ever read! Writing on a subject where "stuff it with fluff", is too often the norm, Farrell takes and holds the literary high road by providing deep-level research that solidly connects both the arcane sciences and our present day post-Einstein physics. But, be warned, it's not a casual read, as the voluminous footnotes and theorems will drive non-scientific readers up a wall. Yet, when the author solidly documents the links between ancient alchemists, Nazi researchers, an Arizona farmer (Hudson), et al, it makes for a truly OMG ride.
As all Farrell books are about 45 % accurate ....a must read to know ...be familiar with ...what's out there ..The author is deceived himself by large ....otherwise wouldn't be able publish his book ...must read as study case .
I'm almost done reading this book and have to say that it is another great work by Dr. Farrell. His usual intelligent analysis of the esoteric and seemingly unbelievable makes me think his high octane speculation is not so crazy after all. Fantastic read for those interested in the secret space program, clandestine government research projects, alchemy in its many supposed forms, etc. Can't wait to finish it and start on another of his books.
This book shows how the enigmatic statements made by the alchemists of old reveal that they understood certain mysteries of nature that were rediscovered during the 20th century either by accident or through targeted scientific research. These natural laws involve things that are going on at the atomic level of the elements that appear mainly between the platinum group metals and mercury on the periodic table.Again and again in the book Farrell explains concepts scientifically that match up with what the alchemists said using their veiled and intentionally ambiguous language. And those scientific ideas, if we can even call it that, are so unusual that it is not surprising that only a very few people in the past ever unlocked those secrets. It gets into the subtle and mysterious relationships between time, space, and matter.The book has a dark and ominous feeling since the Nazis and Russians were trying to use the alchemical secrets to create super weapons. Farrell has a fascination with the Nazis in particular and tells how they were much further along in creating an atomic bomb during World War II than is generally believed today. The image of Adolf Hitler standing in a field observing an atomic bomb test is going to stay with me for some time after reading this book.For Farrell World War II became a race to create an atomic bomb or something even more hellish. Both sides realized that whoever did this first would rule the world. He suggests that the bombing of the German city of Dresden, an act that has always appalled historians, was motivated by this nuclear arms race since Dresden was located near the SS's secret labs. Who knows how this arms race may have secretly influenced other decisions that were made during the war about using the atomic bomb on Japan and other things.The occult origins of the Nazi belief system is something that people are generally aware of but this book puts this occult connection into a completely different perspective. Those beliefs included alchemy and searching through the mists of the ancient past for super weapons.He tells how the yield for a hydrogen bomb test is affected by the location on the Earth where the test is executed and also by the positions of the stars, the planets, and especially the sun.
