This book is so significant and profound that I think in 20 years or so much of it will be taught to everyone in schools and universities, as best I can understand it now. It is a great work that seeks to be tested and reviewed. If you know about earlier scientists such as Paul Dirac, Louis de Broglie, Max Plank, Julian Schwinger and Erwin Schrödinger, you'll understand how light and electrons and particles exhibit wave properties. Mr. Yee has taken this, and the work of other important scientists since then, and added very new information and theoretical ideas and constructs to show how those energy waves might form the particles we are familiar with: protons, electrons, neutrons, neutrinos, quarks, etc.You could think of it (somewhat simplifying), as all the 61 plus particles that we know about are really made from a single particle composed of waves of energy which the book takes a lot of time to describe. These energy waves take a medium to act in; whether you call it a universal field, space, ether, little particles, well... read the book, it will help you decide. From my perspective, the math is provided and it works.I have always wondered why a proton and electron were equal and opposite in electric charge, but the proton was 1836.15 times bigger in terms of mass. Really? I sort of expected they would be the same in mass too. The theory written in this book explains it to me now and for the first time I feel comfortable with it, and it makes sense. There is even an explanation of atomic spin, orbitals, mass, light, magnetism, and the formation of molecules. There is coverage of relativity and more. Some of it requires some changes in thinking, some easy, some not, but it is logical. Some months ago, I started to read the first book before this, and had put it down at first, thinking it didn't conform to what I already knew. This was when I hadn't give it much time yet. I picked it up again later, and on further reading I started to see how it made sense. I'm glad I did. This work here really calls for more peer review: detailed, formal, and scientific. Time will tell, but I am won over. If this theory is true, you still get to keep your protons and electrons. You just won't see them the same way anymore :-)
To say I "enjoyed" reading this user-friendly book would be an understatement!Yee has effectively fleshed-out the assertions and implications of Wolff's Wave Structure of Matter (WSM) by explaining how EVERYthing, from material particles to forces, are simply results and manifestations of basic wave-energy "behaviors". In particular, the wave's Prime Directive seems to be "reduce amplitude", and it seeks to exist in a comfortable, stable node. Energy waves constantly change form to achieve such "goals", which results in matter AND forces.Yee has ALSO presented an amazing "Periodic Table of Particles", based on WSM precepts, which organizes the Particle Zoo into a meaningful and predictable scheme, similar to early understandings of the patterns of Elemental atomic structure! All of this makes sense, given the existence of "aether" ("Dark Matter"? "Quintessence"? "11th Dimension Tori"? - ha), which must now be re-examined. Yee points out the failure of the Michelson-Morley experiment to account for relativistic dilation and contraction, and refers us to LaFreniere's modern modeling of the matter. All people (I speak as a layman), and scientists of all disciplines, should read this book. I think it is the train to Physics Futuropolis, out of this century-long miasma of confusion. Einstein would already be seated...
I am not a physicist, but have profound interest in trying to understand our universe and the theory. I find it very troubling that when constant patching like standard model or the inclusion of imaginary matter as a sure thing like dark matter or dark energy. I strongly believe that ether exists, it can not be detected does not mean it is not there. We just still need to understand its property etc. I believe the understanding of aether will allow human as a whole progress tremendously. This book gives a much simpler understanding of things around us. Although the theory is still need to worked on, and it has better chance of surviving than the understanding of universe based on the likely multidimensional, multi-verse, big bang, dark matter, and dark energy.
With just a quick read the gist of the text is simple but the buildup of particles and waves gets quite complex. With the evidence presented it surely seems they are onto something. The simplicity of the idea is beautiful. Compare this with the incomprehensibility of the ongoing development of current physics with no end in sight.
Very reader friendly description of the current state of understanding of fundamental physics and fundamental elementary particles. This author and colleagues also recently published a highly interesting article in the Journal of Physical Mathematics:DOI: 10.4172/2090-0902.1000247.
As a PhD candidate with a resonable interest and understanding of physics, I found this book to be challenging yet digestible. This was due to the numerous analogies that helped someone like me, who doesn't have a formal background in physics understand complex concepts simplified by the author.
I like the way he explained this subject.
Awesome read -- highly recommended!!
